Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OneBite mobile application ("App") operated by TasteCloud ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to use OneBite.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person. Automated or bot accounts are prohibited.

2. Free and Premium Services

Free Tier: Includes 25 recipe swipes per day, 3 AI recipe generations per month, and up to 15 saved recipes.

Premium: Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Prices are $6.99/month or $49.99/year for Individual, and $9.99/month or $79.99/year for Family (up to 6 members).

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their refund policies.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the App
• Scrape recipes or user data
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Abuse the AI generation feature (e.g., generating harmful or offensive content)
• Circumvent usage limits or rate limiting

4. Content and Recipes

• Recipes provided by OneBite are for informational purposes. We do not guarantee nutritional accuracy.
• AI-generated recipes are created by artificial intelligence and may not be perfect. Always use your judgment when cooking, especially regarding allergies.
• You retain ownership of any content you create (e.g., custom recipes, ratings).

5. Intellectual Property

The OneBite app, including its design, features, and curated recipe content, is owned by TasteCloud. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

OneBite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Allergic reactions or health issues from recipes (always check ingredients)
• Inaccurate nutritional information
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Third-party service failures (Apple, Google, OpenAI)

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

7. Account Termination

• You can delete your account at any time via the App or at getonebiteapp.com/delete-account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
